Outside Account Executives at Local Deals and More leverage current connections and related experience in advertising to build partnerships with local merchants for Local Deals and More. They partner with restaurants, salons, and everything in between to build a local online marketplace where merchants can list their special offers, coupons, contest and local events. We hire connected, innovative, and sales-minded individuals. Experience with online sales, advertising, and social media are beneficial to an account executive’s success and fit within our team.
General Responsibilities
* Prospect and close new local merchants within your assigned territory.
* Identify new and creative businesses & activities to be featured, expanding the range of offers for our
subscribers.* Present Local Deals and More as a unique alternative for businesses to utilize as a way of acquiring new customers and marketing to their current customers via email marketing.
Requirements
* 2+ years of extensive on-line advertising sales to local merchants Metro Detroit.
* Experience cold-calling into various types of local businesses.
* Excellent organizational and relationship building skills.
